1 of 4 Grace, touching little q.'s arm says "i think it's time to go home-" e_, who is standing on the other side of little q. replies, "agreed. we will go first" 2 of 4 and indeed, they both vanish before the giant creature of garbage Randy with his outstretched arm keeping the portal open. in his other arm he holds tight the bean sidhe who has been causing all sorts of problems in previous pages. "see you on the other side" little q.'s voice is heard saying. 3 of 4 inside the void created by the portal, e_ and little q. appear to float in some field of blue. "e_ never gets used to this" e_ says in their old third person pov. they'll still do that from time to time. "it's not like falling or floating, is it?" little q. says. 4 of 4 "it's not entirely unpleasant" they add looking around. "especially when you aren't being carried off by a twelve foot tall Garbage Spirit against your will." e_ says very specifically. "hm." little q. considers. alt-textra: there is a key difference between portals and kabouter doors. kabouter doors are often links between places within the same world while portals link realities. how Zöe got from Druidia to our world remains a mystery and one which i'll have to explore later. kabouter doors are also solid and considerably safer, if not far more confusing ways to travel, than portals.

A 4-panel comic. I'm sitting on the floor beside my 3yo daughter. I tell her she's put her pants on backwards, as we can see the back pockets on the front. Then she turns around and I say "And your T-shirt's backwards too, look, the pocket's in your back!" My husband shows up and says "That's an easy fix." The last panel is him explaining how we could take our daughter's head off, spin it around, and put it back so the clothes are now on the right side, like you would do a LEGO figure.

if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.

allow yourself room to be abstract with details and give yourself some grace

Happy 80th to Nasty Quacks! This was Frank Tashlin’s penultimate short at WB and while he isn’t credited on it since he left by the time it came out, his SCOT Art style is very prevalent throughout. Love how thin and angular Daffy is in this, so distinctive from his other shorts.

1 of 4 after a week of heck irl, we're back! Athrú the new king of Druidia approaches Grace with an offer, "you wouldn't consider staying and becoming a knight of Druidia, would you?" "woah" Grace says taken aback. 2 of 4 "geez, i've never been offered anything like that before. you for real?" not quite sure how to respond to such an idiom, Athrú says, "er... yes?" 3 of 4 "so um," Grace attempts to start, "as absolutely Bas-Ass as Lady Fox sounds..." she refers to her alias, "i gotta decline. thank you, anyway. -besides" she adds an afterthought. 4 of 4 "someone's gotta keep an eye on the Princet!" Grace whispers to Athrú. "No, Athrú agrees. e_ is still a moron" Athrú will probably never quite get along with his cousin. alt-textra: so yeah last week. it sucked. between my dog, hosting a thanksgiving dinner, and then promptly getting sick friday, there was no way i was getting anything done. so i cozied up and restarted BoTW till my head stopped feeling like a damn balloon. i love e_ being a complete goof about their hair, here. Grace will indeed need to help them as much as possible.
