The X-Men comics, along with some old Justice League from the Keith Giffen era, helped me go through my childhood & teen years. I was lonely because I was the weirdo who loved comics and scifi, & it was great to read stories where people were different but still had a bunch of folks who loved them.

Managed to survive 12 days (and counting) in THE LONG DARK. Moved out of the Mountain Town area and just started at the Mystery Lake area.
Must say I was disappointed to reach that first house and not find a rifle. Guess I'll try have to try hunting with my pistol...?

This is a shame. Sure, BioWare changed a lot after it was bought by EA, but we still got some good games. With these new owners this seems unlikely.
Maybe they'll sell it to someone instead of tearing it apart. Or sell the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises.

Decided to play The Long Dark again a few years after playing it & giving up because I sucked at Survival mode.
I see a ton of stuff has been added to the game since. Could we always pick our starting location? I don't think so. But anyway, I've been alive for 4 days. Will I make it to 10? 🫣
