I keep saying, this is not the final peace in the Middle East that solves it all. Neither will the next one be, and that one or one of them will be the peace that ushers in evil incarnate himself, the man of sin we call the Antichrist.

No, this will not last.
It can't change my mind. I agree with it too much.
I just blocked Peg, so the post improved 100 percent.
In the future, please resist the urge.
Could you call a litany of articles in the Tampa Bay Times about me articles I chose to have written?

No. I don't work for or boss the Times. It doesn't matter if all the articles are fan worship or hate mail sent to my enemies. If I didn't author them, they're not mine!
He disavowed the project. That is enough for me. It means it never had his blessing. So it does not represent him. Representation does not flow from those chosen to the one who chooses. It flows from the author to the ones chosen. Trump was not behind P2025, he is not its author.
But actually, they were documented. Until 1808 the slave trade was legal, and they kept track of them once off the ships. The US and Britain, by tacit agreement at least, both officially ended the slave trade in their respective dominions in the same year. But Britain banned slavery per se first.
And I'm sure there were some arch conservatives who were upset with that, but some of the never-Trumpers come from the furthest-right end of the GOP. P2025 was put up by people he didn't hire or prompt; they did that all on their own. He's more of a pragmatic centrist than a dogmatic hardliner.
So anybody that keeps tagging him with Project 2025 proposals is either misinformed or dishonest.

Sorry, not sorry. He did not campaign on that. I caught a speech one day where he flatly disowned it.
He disavowed it specifically. 2025 was not a product of his campaign. That was from a separate thinktank, and a lot of its proposals were not campaign planks.
You always give up something when you only have mass transit available.

Freedom. You're limited to the routes that the system uses.
That all depends on how far they have to go and how much time they have to spend in transit. The car has a lot of advantages over shared transport on a bus or train. A lot more route options are available to drivers, and they can travel off the route map for any mass transit system.
Side note: 2.5 p then is about a US dollar now!
And it's not a service for DRIVERS unless their ride has broken down! Why should they bear the whole weight of the cost through their taxes? Why should those who ALWAYS pay for their own transport do that? SPREAD THE COST IF YOU SUBSIDIZE. Don't turn it into another weapon of class warfare!
Literally no Western country has ever had "free" bus service. Even heavily subsidized in London in the 1950s, riders had to pay SOMETHING. If you didn't have 2 1/2 p then you didn't board!
My late guitarist, a dyed in the wool leftist, called it the "Nazi State of New Jersey," because of how they treated her for being unable to breathe into an analyzer because she had lung cancer and didn't know it! She sent proof back from Florida of it and they STILL wouldn't lift the $3,000 fines!
New Jersey has the highest taxes in the country and even my liberal aunt and uncle fled to Maine rather than put up with that state any more!!
