I got this unsolicited check for $3,510. Mariner Finance sent this check as a loan, maybe hoping I was desperate because of the #governmentshutdown, and impacted by #SNAP. If I'd accept this offer, I would have to pay back $6,218.94 at 35.98%! Why is this loan shark behavior not criminal?
