They've got all the right stuff at the bottom of the page, but that hostile pop-up is extraordinary. I haven't gone to their page before now, so I don't know how long that's been in place, but it contradicts the legally-compliant language at the bottom of the page (and their policy text).

Try really hard to understand their economic anxiety, reach out to them, become friends with them when they're elected to the Senate. They're doing politics right, they're fine people, they just spoke a little intemperately because they love America so much.

The private right of action is pretty limited; the AG or maybe the new privacy agency could investigate. Also, some of the newer regs about dark patterns, etc. aren't really in play yet. So maybe they've been technically compliant on the site despite this kind of heavy-handed up-front statement.

Not just ICE. Pretty much every state and local police force is a 5th column for the regime – which I remember trying to explain to people as we watched the Biden interregnum fritter away the last chance to prevent this from happening.

This kind of moral clarity and plain speech in a 40 y/o Democratic candidate for Senate is why it was so important for Chuck Schumer's DSCC to recruit a septegenerian primary opponent. Can't be having a Dem senator demonstrate physical vitality and moral clarity!

The simplistic MAGA/Trump mindset is that because China produces a lot of things for the world, they're like a servant or a contractor you can order around, abuse, stiff. That's wrong on most levels here, but it especially fails to grasp that a key source of supply owns you, not vice-versa.

Oh, I agree. And the Republicans built a fascist propaganda machine long before they found the leader, so the base is saturated in lies – and during the pandemic, were trained to sacrifice themselves for the lies.

But this is impossible-to-miss massive destruction imposed top-own. So we'll see.

One also notes that the regime is trying to impose a dictatorship without providing any tangible benefits to anyone. The regime is actively harming their base, giving them only the psychological benefit of seeing their hate objects brutalized.

So all they'll have left is violence.
