I love chatting with @davidharper.bsky.social about a new comic every month! Really happy with the range of titles we’ve covered. It took me a while to get into LAND but once it hooked me it got me good.
Binging DEATH BY LIGHTNING put me in the right headspace to finally watch REDS and what an incredible film. Had no idea abt the documentary element, which is so well done and adds lots of valuable context. Keaton’s performance is unreal. Fiery, tender, vulnerable — she owns the movie.

DEADPOOL/BATMAN is not very good. Main story is the most basic version of this team-up, back-ups are fine to bad. Plus side: I was able to get a DWJ Thing vs. Barda cover.

Despite starting slow, I’ve grown to really appreciate what the ABSOLUTE GREEN LANTERN team is doing. Rereading the first arc was very rewarding.
I've been repping hard for Absolute Green Lantern for a while now, and in this month's Double Take column with @oliversava.bsky.social, I dig into why and how the finale to its first arc made me feel vindicated for that belief. (It's great!)
Of all the Absolute DC titles, it can feel like Absolute Green Lantern is the one that no one can agree on.
