Hi all, new to BlueSky. I am a hobby photographer/videographer in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. Audio is also a fun thing that I play around with. I went to community college for TV Broadcast and Live Sound Reinforcement classes and got a BS in Journalism and Media Communications. I love history too.
A windmill on a farm is lit up by the Fall sun. Yellow leaves on trees are in the background behind wood and white picket fencing.

This was across a dirt road from an artist's studio that I was visiting on a citywide art studio tour day.

The raised bed garden in our yard is empty of the tomato, cucumber, zucchini and other plants from this year. Everything was harvested before freeze warnings, then the stalks and limbs taken out for yard waste collection.

Fall scenes from the Poudre Canyon in #Colorado.

Not many people were out as it was an overcast day and colder, making for a great day for photos.

A view of a mountain stream with no water creating a path through the fall trees in the Poudre Canyon in #Colorado.

I went bolder than I usually would with the colors in my edit of this photo to get the sense of the fall colors.

A few more scenes from Rocky Mountain National Park in #Colorado last week.

Although these images give the impression that it was quiet, there were many, many people around looking and competing for the same views.

Thanks. It was beautiful. I was spoiled by going up the Poudre Canyon the day before with minimal traffic and leaf peepers. I still have to edit those photos.
Scenes from Rocky Mountain National Park in #Colorado last week.

Some folks followed park regulations, others seemed to be going wherever they wanted off trails. It was beautiful, but it is hard to recommend going with all the chaos.

A black and white photo of two large trees reflecting in the water of a lake at Riverbend Ponds in #FortCollins #Colorado.

Taken in 2009 on a Konica Reflex TC with Ilford HP5 Plus, 400 ISO 35mm #film.

A peaceful bench near the water at Riverbend Ponds in #FortCollins #Colorado.

This was a black and white 35mm image I took as part of a high school #film photography class in 2009. The darkroom there really got me into photography.

One more photo for the Pink
#AlphabetChallenge.

This is Fred, a neighbors cat taking in the action of a neighborhood block party sticking out his little pink tongue.

Our Golden Retriever, Ada, was smiling with her pink tongue sticking out last night. It made for a very cute picture.

A tree with red leaves sits in between trees of various colors of foliage across the street from City Park and Sheldon Lake in #FortCollins #Colorado. A street light frames the trees across the street.

The sun was hitting the leaves at the right moment for things to be lit up nicely. It is getting dark much earlier in the evening, so more sunset pictures are possible.
The trees here in #FortCollins #Colorado are finally starting to turn more red than yellow. It may look more like all red, but there is plenty of pink in the leaves as well.

It was a New York Times recipe. I think this is a gift link :)

It certainly was good. I had not done any real cooking for awhile, so it was nice to get back into it a bit. The meal took quite a while to make, even with two people (me and my mom) working on it together.
Our family had things set up so that we could share Prime shipping on all our accounts. I got an email a few months back saying that that would not work anymore. The suggested price was too much for me by far. I wasn't using Amazon a lot before, but I have no reason to now without Prime.

Dinner last night was a homemade soup of butternut squash with coconut milk over noodles. Parsley and onions made for good toppings. It was very thick and creamy, making for a great Fall meal.
