Enthusiastic and Amazing sunset.

Tonight's sunset seemed quite impressive with various bold colors. There was a band of clouds that looked like a spine directly overhead and then clouds lit up in orange in the distance.

Folks in the neighborhood are starting to put up their Christmas lights.

I stepped outside as it was getting dark for a few cellphone photos of two houses across the street that are lit up.

Night Sight mode on Android has been really handy for night photos.

I use a light table to light the negatives and photograph the individual frames with a Canon mirrorless camera and macro lens. For image processing I use Affinity Photo 2.
A plastic negative holder holds rows of black and white film. This is set up to print a darkroom contact sheet.

A few #Holga120n #Film photos that I took back in high school 15 years ago and digitized today with a macro lens and mirrorless camera.

The Holga is a basic, all plastic camera/lens with very limited controls. 1/125s or a bulb exposure and f8 or f11.

It is neat to hear that you enjoyed the food co-op while you were in town.

Here are a few photos I took looking in the windows and at the informational signs posted outside what will be their new location come January 2026.

Behind the scenes of the Everyday Science TV Show. The show had students from Poudre School District in #FortCollins #Colorado working with Brian Jones of Colorado State University's Little Shop of Physics on hands-on science experiments.

The TV studio of Poudre School District Channel 10 as photographed in 2012 by me for print photography used on episode posters. The set has two long tables covered with black table cloths. Various hands on science experiments are on the table and around the studio. Tie-dyed backdrops made up the background of the set. Studio lights mounted from support rails are turned on and light up the TV studio space. A KiPro video recorder is plugged into the TV control room setup at Poudre School District Channel 10 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Status information is visible in blue text on the LCD screen. Various playback and recording buttons are clustered around the LCD screen. This was the first solid state SSD video recorder device that I learned how to use. Coming from using tape recorders and decks this was a huge leap forward in technology. An analog audio mixer at Poudre School District Channel 10 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Masking tape is used to label what audio channels are what. In the foreground of this image a TV video switcher is visible. The silver handles let one fade between different video sources on different video buses. Various buttons control what video is the active source on each bus. In the out of focus background is an analog audio mixer. A man's hand is controlling the white faders on the mixer. Other TV studio control equipment for PTZ cameras is further in the background.

Drawing group this morning with a few friends was a nice way to relax.

I drew the cover of a book depicting George Sorel who I had not heard of. He apparently was a political commentator with some rather extreme views. Not my kind of person.
