Trump’s rhetoric has fully embraced the good vs. evil narrative. By calling opponents “the devil’s ideology” and claiming the left “becomes violent,” he’s casting political disagreement as a holy war. But it’s just dehumanization, designed to justify extreme measures against dissent.

The official government account for DHS appears to be run by far-right trolls deliberately trying to provoke a response by using a term openly associated with ethnic cleansing. They will attack anyone who points this out and express faux outrage at the suggestion. They know what they are doing.

Trump is turning basic medical ethics into a scare tactic to attack political opponents and dehumanize immigrants. Undocumented immigrants do not “get the greatest healthcare package in the world.” They only receive emergency care because hospitals don’t let people die on the sidewalk.

As someone who’s been a frequent target, none of this shocks me. I don’t expect real consequences from the right because I doubt today is the first day they heard about it.
