At the laundromat this morning, I met a Vietnam vet (173rd Airborne Brigade), an American of Mexican descent. Also met his wife, an American from Vietnam of Chinese descent. You will notice the lack of hyphens. An American is an American is an American. I love this country. I hate MAGA.

When AOC first arrived on the scene, I thought she was more or less a novelty act, like Tiny Tim on Laugh In. Just another weird NYC politician with no relevance west of the Hudson. But I'm starting to take her a lot more seriously.
