Twenty years ago today, the manliest of all soap operas began.

I think I'll wallop somebody with a bicycle to celebrate.

Of all the features that Bluesky carried over from The Cesspit, why did the page refreshing when you were halfway through reading a post that you will never be able to find ever again have to be one of them?

So much talk of watching The Whole Bloody Affair the way the filmmakers originally intended, yet somehow no mention of the way the original filmmakers intended...

Can somebody remind me the name of the Italian leader who insisted on having the trophy named after him for the 1934 World Cup?

Couldn't sleep.

Too busy barricading the doors so The Marias couldn't sneak in and stream their music while I sleep again.

Since it seems to be an annual tradition for me to have a crashout over my Spotify Wrapped on Bluesky, I may as well try and keep it all in one place. So...

1. About a third of the songs used on the slides were songs by artists I never listened to, so that set the tone early.

And it's the one day of a year I ask myself one question: Who hacked into my Spotify and listened to a bunch of bands I didn't?

Because my Wrapped is somehow more of a joke than last year's.

"Angeball is too open, we need defensive solidity!!!"
Defensive solidity is provided.
"We don't have an arbitrary xG, Frank needs to play more open football!!!"
Frank breaks his own system to play more open football.
"Why are we losing???"

Hmm, I wonder where the problem might lie...?

One day I might actually remove my For You feed.

But not when I'm still reeling from the hell that came after turning off GMail's smart features.

I momentarily got my hopes up when I saw Maserati have a Black Friday sale.

Then I saw you would merely pay £98 for Maserati-branded jump leads.

The good news for Lindsey Halligan is she will surely have a lot more time on her hands to try intimidating people by appearing in their DMs telling them they don't have a clue what they're talking about.

The bad news is it will most likely be while advertising Four Seasons Total Landscaping.

Hail Cthulhu that there was a 4 1/2 hour Defunctland video to take my mind of yesterday's nonformance.
November 24, 2025 at 11:57 AM
Well that was odd: I got online and immediately saw that scene from Event Horizon where they unscramble the video log.

No, wait, my mistake: that was the r/coys post-match thread.

Spent the morning dealing with 300+ begging emails from Photobucket flooding my inbox after disabling GMail's smart features.

Hopefully nothing else irritating is on the agenda for today, especially not for a couple of hours starting at 4:30...

Google did another shitty thing. You now have to go opt out in Gmail to avoid having their AI train on your stuff.

A new Gmail update may allow Google to use your private messages and attachments for AI training. Here's how to turn it off.
