Let’s be fair. There was no way anything after season 1 of Stranger Things was going to capture that magic. That said, the follow-ups were superior to most sequel/series. Looking at you, Alien, Terminator, Predator, etc.

My favorite tracks of 2025. Definitely an eclectic mix, but likely a little something for everyone. Best played on shuffle. Enjoy!

I’m old enough that my first memory of Rob Reiner was as “Meathead” in All In The Family. My mind was blown when he went on to direct some of the best films ever, starting with Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride. Thank you for everything you gave us, Mr. Reiner.

Spent the day in Amsterdam engrossed in street art at the STRAAT Museum. Huge warehouse in the north end of the city, with nearly 200 works by world-class street artists. A must!

Visiting Amsterdam for the first time to see old friends who recently emigrated from the US. They introduced me to the greatest thing: a wine bar where you put funds on a card, and the self-pour a taste or a glass. Plus, there are notes about each one. Genius!

I am a huge fan of the first two Tame Impala albums, Innerspeaker and Lonerism. When the lead single of Currents, “Let It Happen” dropped, I was so excited. Sadly, the rest of the album lost me.
