Listened to the #BenidormFest songs. Another year I struggle to pick a single song I truly enjoy.
Like in previous years, most feel like they just picked a random Casio keyboard standardized rhythm track and wrote some lyrics on top of it in order to create the next generic Summer radio hit. (1/2)

Man, #Fik64 is really Alis' to loose, huh? This second semi-final was... rough. In many ways.

Sara Kapo has my favorite song of this year's #FiK64 and I loved every second of that performance. Did a lot with very little.
Can't wait until it fails to qualify as my favorites often do.

I'm aware of the comparisons with the Israeli prop last year, but honestly, this is the first #Eurovision stage that I truly find really pretty in years. My only nitpick is that the ceiling lights feel very limited in range and variety, but otherwise, love how cozy yet elegant this feels.

I've recently decided to pick up the #OnePiece anime again after years of not watching it. As someone who already thought Dressrosa was a convoluted, badly structured arc in the manga, I'd almost forgotten how borderline pointless this whole Coliseum plot line is. Ughff.

I'm seeing so many people stating they will vote for 🇪🇸, 🇳🇱 or 🇮🇪 in JESC to show support for their position against Israel in the show and all I can think is that they're being just as bad as the bad faith actors who have rigged the televote in the past 2 years in #Eurovision to vote for Israel. (1/4)

Half of me wants to be nice and accept that people are completely free to enjoy whatever songs they want.
But the other half is seeing the #Eurovision fandom state "Queen of Kings" from Lidl should win #Montesong2025 and just wants Nordic songwriters banned from NFs for a decade.
It's a stalemate.
