I can agree with most of this. Especially, the point about it feeling rushed.
Also, I feel that the lack of lore is a result of leaving more creative room for the growing popularity of Homebrew GM's, like myself. I AM happy the monsters do more damage; it always felt underwhelming.

I believe anyone who has a 3D printer should be able to easily build a Dungeons and Dragons world on their kitchen table. So, every building I make will be available on Thingiverse. Fully modular, no supports. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons

As a Forever DM, I pride myself on having the ability to patch any plot hole, or justify any absurd #dnd concept my brain comes up with on the fly. Mainly because I've had two manipulative ex-wives that taught me that one can rationalize absolutely ANYTHING if you try hard enough.
