Depending on how swamped we are or how anxious, some might not always reply. Myself, I do my best to reply as much as I can, and also know I treasure all of your interactions a lot. It’s why I post as actively as I do.

twitter artists genuinely do you like when people comment on your art and tell you they like it? i always just assumed since twitter art tends to have fewer comments that most people prefer only their friends interact

Part of me is so down for the idea of a union, the other part of me is so afraid of it.
It's so difficult for newer artists (and even some established artists) to find work as it is, and companies tend to HATE unions where I live (US), but they're so needed to help with fair labor practices.

The amount of work I've done that I can't show... I remember creating this awesome desert landscape for a game with a giant monster skeleton and pools of green, steaming acid.

By the time the NDA was up it no longer fit my portfolio. I was so proud of it at the time though.

This is a good article. For all the importance we have in creating the entire look of the product, we really don't have any power. We are not even allowed to show our labor to find new jobs most of the time.

Artists need to unionize.

Sucks that I can't watch the Eagles game today because I have to jump between 50 streaming services to see the different games and the one today wants $50 for one game.

I hate to ask but I need to do this test or my doctor won't prescribe further treatment. I currently can't afford it or the transportation to get to the hospital for it. I will do commissions to help meet the goal but I ask for patience on the turn around. Rts appreciated

My bestie and I had a conversation last night about how hard it is to be real about what our art pieces mean.
How the deeper meaning in them other than "pretty picture" gets lost and how we want to be more "raw", but it's so scary to be so revealing on social media.
