They say you shouldn’t meet your heroes well I did a podcast with one of mine. I had posters of Andy Cole on my wall as a teenager. I defended him to the point of punches being thrown and I spent an hour arguing with him about football and Mo Salah #nufc #mufc

My biggest frustration is that this is a bang average Premier League and had Newcastle not had the summer from hell (possibly a slight exaggeration) they would have been close to challenging Arsenal.
As it is they're groping for form, consistency and fluency with the rest of the league...

The thing with Pope is, Howe clearly likes him to act as a sweeper keeper which we've seen can prove costly.
I know Pope has errors but if he's instructed to play as a sweeper, at times, things like that are going to happen.
Popes fault, but I hate the level of hate aimed at him.
