I've never done a #portfolioday before but I figured I'd throw in my lot here.

Hi I'm Mush and I'm a wasteland fabricator and costume designer

#wastelandweekend

My wasteland medical kit full of medicines and surgical tools. It's a hand dyed red leather cube of a bag with 6 rusted washers, a cut license plate, some bones and chains and my emergency drinking water can cup

My main wasteland costume: a bleached red tank top with a hand painted yellow and black steel plate that's been tied together with wire, a dirty black corset with rusted bottle caps and patches, several wasted out belts and pouches and my stuffed sloth Russell. My pants are brown and black with a smiley face patch with a hole in it's head

My partner's camelback waterskin. It has H20 painted on it, duct tape on the seam, thick course rope wrapped at the bottom and a brass tag. It's on my work desk so it's rather messy with glue and scissors and tubing and fabric scraps around

Charo's pauldron. There's a raccoon skull fixed to a bit if fox fur and several broken rib bones arranged in a sort of ladder. There are several soda pop tops sewn into and rusted D rings. The base of the pad is painted with silver nail polish giving the effect that it's a metal grate (? Idk?)

4 new patches - Trogdor! The Burninator! A Jersey Devil (kinda, its the silhouette i guess lol), a cartoony skull with red cap mushrooms all around it, a meatloaf cat loafing it and the words "stay pure, don't let your meat loaf". This saying came from my dad lol

God I wish I was in any other country but the one im in, but im in the US. When I do eventually go (when I have the money hahha) they can poke and prod all they like. But then again these are the same people who misdiagnosed my slipped disc for 4 years so my faith isn't what it should be

I haven't yet, but I know theres a bunch of other stuff that I need to check out so I guess I should at some point. Its not the first time this side has bled but I don't have any pain or discomfort with it. Its mainly like "hm my ear feels wet" and lo and behold it looks like my brain is leaking

Hi Eric! Im Mush! I do a bunch of stuff but mostly prop and costume making and painting silly things these days. I like weird science and horror and music and being a general nuisance. Its nice to meet you!

My "Surgeon's box" - a cubic bag that i made from cowhide. It has cut license plate reinforcement and held together with a piece of roughly sewn canvas strapping. It has chicken bones and gopher or woodchuck jaw dangling from a chain. The box opens us to hold 6 4oz. bottles and 7 "surgical" tools that are attached to the inside walls. It also holds my wasteland diary and my doctors ledger along with toe tags, a sewing kit, dental xrays and a mentats tin
