With great power comes great responsibility. Republicans are in charge right now. They may not have 60 votes, but they hold the gavel, and that means it’s on them to negotiate.

You cannot keep the government closed, refuse to talk, and then blame Democrats for the mess you created.

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

I have overseen editorial for two beloved indie publications that folded: Bitch Media and YES! Media. I learned a lot from those experiences, including the fact that passion is not enough to sustain a media operation. Indie publications need consistent revenue to survive.
