Hey Bluesky.
We might be strangers.
But just know, if you are hurting, and you need to vent, I’m here.
I might not be able to help, but I can listen.
And sometimes, in a world where things can seem broken, that’s all we need.
So please.
Reach out-
The world still needs you here.

Back when I made minimum wage I walked back into a store to pay for an item I found that slid under my purse in the cart.
Now that I’m in that 6 figure range? I would still do the same. Would be curious to know how many of those 40% were born into a comfortable life vs the other 60…

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

Sounds about white for America 2026.
Pantone has named a shade of white called Cloud Dancer as the defining color of the next year. Have they gotten it right? Reporters for our Styles desk sat down to debate. trib.al/Vf9rhmC

For some reason “confidently assertive” self-driving cars make me slightly nervous 😬
“They’re bending traffic laws, getting impatient with pedestrians and embracing the idea that when it comes to city driving, politeness doesn’t pay… Waymo has been trying to make its cars “confidently assertive,” says Chris Ludwick, a senior director of product management with Waymo”
Self-driving Waymo cars are suddenly driving way mo like “an aggressive, New York taxi driver.”

My local food pantry doesn’t accept cash donations - it’s easier for them if there’s not a money trail to worry about tracking - but that doesn’t stop me from donating at each monthly food drop. I’m with #RxHunger in spirit though, because no one should have to choose between meds and food!

I’m white, but I’m not that white.
No gravy even to drown the sorrows of that meal, looks like the turkey was so dry it exploded, and they must have ran out of cheese and just had mac n sadness.

Because no one who dresses up is ever rude or cranky, right?
Duffy: "Trump talks about the golden age of transportation. But the golden age in transportation truly begins with you ... People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly ... so we want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season: Help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

Gives annoying sibling “I’m not touching you” vibes
Apparently RFK Jr. promised Senator Bill Cassidy that he wouldn’t remove the statement

“Vaccines do not cause autism” from the CDC website.

So what RFK Jr. did instead is spit in his face by leaving the statement there and adding this:

1000 times this. Akin to “what was she wearing” it’s not on the recipient of such things to respond “appropriately”
I’m seeing people say things like “she let him speak to her like that?” and that is not it. She was, I’m sure, stunned. Knowing someone thinks this way and having someone speak to you this way WITH CAMERAS ROLLING are two different things. She is not at fault for her reaction or lack thereof.
