I have been trying to make people realize that, if the government cancels the Constitution, that means we can cancel the government. One side cancelling a contract means there is no longer a contract, and the Constitution is that contract. Means there is no United States, and there is no law.

It's more basic than that: a constitution is basically the written affirmation of a compact (essentially a contract) between the People and the government THEY're setting in place. If one party to that compact cancels it, then none of it applies from that point on to the other party. Think about it.
