If any of you are watching the Sea Devils on BBC4, the fort that the Doctor and Jo visit is not far from the Mary Rose wreck site.

I did it! All 155 classic Doctor Who stories represented by a Simpsons scene 🤣 some easy, some very hard! Please enjoy!
I've had an idea...

Someone told me that cos there are nearly 800 episodes of the Simpsons, it's possible to describe all other shows with a clip from a Simpsons episode. So with that in mind, I'm going to use a freezeframe/gif to describe every classic Dr Who serial 😁 1 season per day...

This was so much fun to do. Give it a listen tomorrow! I can 100% predict the future, you wait and see.

There was a trans character on Coronation St in 1998(!) for a decade and no one gave a fuck apart from a small minority of bigots who were largely ignored.

Image the #discourse if Corrie, or EastEnders introduced a trans character at the moment.
It is incredible to me how made up this issue is. No one gave a shit ten years ago. Sure there were your individual mad, ignorant bigots but *Theresa May* was pushing for self-ID because it was the last little bit of logistical sorting out of a settled question: we're ok with Trans people

Interesting thing to take away here.

BBC asked 5000 doctors to take part in a survey about overdiagnosis of mental health conditions. Only 15% of them responded.

And what do you think the belief will be of that 15% who specifically wanted to respond to a study into overdiagnosis? 🤔

Admittedly, he didn't talk in specifics at the time, so he may just have been worried they were going to cut Basil's impression of his childhood hero.
Farage's sudden change of heart on outdated British TV shows is surprising given he was advocating for the n-word to be freely available on iPlayer and used in BBC Two repeats five years ago.

So one of the most viral British aggregators @PolitlcsUK (the second “i” is an L) is actually run by a former Tory MP turned lobbyist and Andrew Rosindell’s office manager? And they interview Rosindell? Such a great era.

The thing about both the WI and the Guides is that transphobia is best countered by like, meeting trans people and talking to them. It is far easier to stoke hatred when you have shut down avenues for normal daily interactions.

What does this do for women's rights?

We're watching the wholesale burning of every scrap of dignity afforded to trans people in the UK, their rights, their medical services, their employment, their place within society, their bodily functions.

It is a disgrace, and a disgusting stain on the government and media of this country.

A question for Beatles fans! Listening to Anthology 4 and not heard the guitar-backed Good Night before. Has it ever been speculated that the song grew out of Dear Prudence, or vice versa? Or was that guitar rhythm just an easy grounding when they knew it wouldn't be final?

"We were misled" - he doesn't mean the public, he means himself and his fellow political entrail-readers. He's now very grumpy that after a month of him soothsaying about income tax increases, it hasn't happened and he has been exposed as a complete charlatan.
No that's not *your* on *our behalf*. Your job is to report the story, presenting all sides fairly and then *we* call it. What Mason is saying here is fundamentally not what the bbc is for!
