He was imprisoned only because he refused to leave his home in northern Gaza. He never carried a weapon, never joined a fight; he simply wanted to stay in his own house, in peace.

But he doesn’t know yet…
He doesn’t know that his home has been reduced to ashes, that his brother, sister, and her children were all killed. He will walk out of prison searching for them—and find no one. He will return to nothing. No roof, no walls, not even a corner to shelter his grief.

That’s why I decided to raise just $1,000 for him—a small amount that might buy him a tent, a blanket, a piece of dignity after everything he’s lost.
Please, help me give him a tiny beginning in a world that took everything from him.
Because nothing is more painful than stepping into freedom, only to find that freedom has no place left to go.

Maybe I would like you to tell them Even though the war is over, we still need their support Because we still have no homes to return to, children are without schools, and there are no places to work Everything is still at a standstill here
We will need a lot to be able to start our lives from scratch again
We are also still suffering from the lack of gas and we have to light a fire all the time to prepare food
The types of food are still very limited: no meat, no chicken, no eggs ,etc

I understand it in the sense that if multiple governors and mayors tell their police “no” and the police refuse to obey, then the kayfabe that the elected officials control the police ends.

I’m on the side of “Tear the band-aid off and confront the real problem” but I understand the reticence.

So that he and his class can hoover up all that isn’t nailed down for pennies on the dollar. Their approach is not dissimilar to what private equity firms do when they take over, asset strip, and destroy individual companies.

We've been posting non stop looking for work. For houses to clean. Anything. Mom and I are both disabled, my husband works full time but it barely pays the bills much less food or extra needed items now, copays, Drs etc
