Season 10 X-Files...... man......... this is the absolute PITS.
December 4, 2025 at 7:48 PM
One of the really interesting things about the X-Files is that a majority of the episodes - I want to say about 65% - begin with cold opens that concern TVs playing in the background, or people zoned in front of TV, etc. Really shows how central and universal "TV brainrot" was to 90s life.

Every day that goes by I feel that much more interpolated by the Portlandia feminist bookstore skit and honestly I dont even care anymore. Yes I DO hold a mug of tea like that as I scowl disapprovingly at things.

Canadians talking so positively about the idea of "decarbonized oil" now that Carney has fully revealed that he's Harper in a new skin suit is explicable only as symptom of mass psychosis.

Being on a train on a sunny autumn day like I am today is something I need at a metaphysical level.

Basketball is certainly the activity in my life with the widest gulf between how much I like doing it (very much) and how good I am at it (utter shit).

This Sunday in Montreal, the first launch for my new book will take place - and anyone who grabs a copy at a launch event will also get a small surprise companion piece to it that I spent the weekend making. 🙂 I'm not going to say what it is though. 🙂 While supplies last. 🙂
