when you rely on taking money from corporations to advertise to viewers who came for a specific reason, and not to be advertised to, and the creator knows that, and in the context of a slew of bad sponsors (Honey, Magic Spoon, hellofresh, etc.) it will be seen as entitled or begging.

well, it's complicated. YT'ing is an art form, and pursuing a living wage for creating art should come with an understanding of no guarantees. as an artist/creator, you are not entitled to anyone's money or attention beyond what they give willingly, and a lot of creators seem to forget that.
