This was a tiny little turtle on the edge of a path. I really wanted to take it closer to the marsh but since we're in a national park, it's best to just observe!

These were taken at a local conservation area. It contains a marsh area but it also a large area for shorebirds to come and rest. I feel pretty lucky to be sandwiched between a national park and a separate conservation area. #photography #nature #naturepics #marsh #marshland #bird

I thought all of my pictures of this #snake I took in the spring was horribly blur but this isn't as bad. I'm not a snake expert but I believe this snake was shedding or about to shed since its eye is blue. It's a good place to hide! #animalphotography #naturephotography #nature #photography

FROGS! We first saw the big one sitting in the pond but the more we looked, the more we saw! These were taken on Halloween. I don't know enough about frogs to see whether or not this a normal time for so many to be out and about!

A toad! I took this one last year (I have a lot of backlog to upload to bluesky). I saw it out of the corner of my eye because he jumped and it stayed super still (probably hoping I didn't see it).
