I was so touched. At that con most kids wanted pics with the Disney princesses, but this girl wanted a pic with the spiky white-haired person with creepy-looking red contacts… and I was absolutely delighted!!

I also had one of my most touching moments ever as a cosplayer when I went to a local con dressed as Soul, and this lady came up to me with her 12/13 year old daughter, and said her daughter was too shy to ask, but wanted to take a pic with me because she loved/was inspired by the character so much

BTW, I HIGHLY recommend reading/watching Soul Eater! I watched the anime during my deepest depression, when I was looking for really dark titles, and it turned out to be what saved me from my suicidal thoughts! It’s got deep/dark themes, but it’s so hilarious simultaneously! It’s a great blend!

Seriously tho, anger and holding grudges is just so tiring, I dunno how the haters do it. It must suck to be a hater, always suffocating themselves. Now I just see the angry songs like LWYMD as empowering and fun! Just have fun playing with the persona!

It’s not a question of them “trying harder”.

It’s a lack of resources, money and physical health combined with the fact that most countries won’t allow disabled people in.

I’ve had people jealous of me literally since I was a child, even my own parents have had moments of insecurity about me, and they’re very loving people. I’ve been thru hell and back, stabbed by too many jealous bitches to count, and it takes armies of haters, and they still can’t stop me.

The thing about life is that you should always follow your heart no matter what. There will always be haters, backstabbers, and pretenders. Doesn’t matter who you are. But you gotta rise above their jealousy cuz it’s just their own insecurities, it ain’t about you, it’s all on them. Rise above it.
