Of course England is not homogenous. But it very much is dominated by deeply-embedded right-wing biases.

That's certainly a probem for South Yorkshire and other English regions.

But it is not Scotland's problem. All we can do is leave & lead by example.

We do want to work together, and we will with our friends and neighbours in Europe.

It's England which is shrinking into itself, at great cost, the inevitable result of its deeply-embedded right-wing biases.

UK politics swings between hard right (Thatcher, austerity, Brexit, Farage) & centre right (Blair, Starmer)

In an independent Scotland poltical pendulum would swing betwen centre left & centre right.

England's farthest *left* is our farthest *right*.

Over time we'd create a very different country

Sorry but you categorically do not understand Scottish nationalism. This is a reaction against the kind of narrow-minded, right-wing extremism which increasingly dominates English poltiics.

Scotland is a very different country. We never vote for any of this. England regularly does.

Scots didn't vote for Thatcher, austerity, Brexit. Farage is next in line & we won't vote for him either.

In many ways indy Scotland would be like the UK you used to know but which hasn't existed for some time.

I really thought they would do that today. Engineer some pretext and then open fire on "rioting terrorist antifa".

If mass protest builds momentum they're screwed so they have to stop it before it gets established.
