Static screenshots really can undermine how chaotic an action game scene is.
Playing FATAL FRAME: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

Ghost hands are startling and somewhat scary (given its sudden appearance and the prospect of losing spirit stones or game progress), but if you do manage to evade it, it just stays there motionless for a second awkwardly. I kind of feel bad for it.
And the answer is…

All 5 games are currently at version 1.0.0 and have never received any update since release!

These games hold up pretty well too. I have never seen these games crash.
These are 5 of the games I have on Nintendo Switch. Despite looking unrelated, they actually have one thing in common. Can you guess what is it?

(Answer will be revealed later.)
I've been playing this word game called Squardle by @fubargames.bsky.social for a few weeks. Very fun stuff, although I wish it accepts more uncommon words (that I wouldn't even call obscure) in some variants.
Whoa. Hit in 2 guesses. This is a record for me.
I've come to the conclusion that generally, longer words are easier to solve in Wordle.
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is coming out soon. Would love to see keyboard support added :P
Aha, so that's why it looks so familiar! This character reminds me of something and I couldn't quite remember what that is.
Since I've been playing Warriors All-Stars, here's a little strange trivia:
William (from Nioh) speaks English. The Asian language versions offer the option to display his lines in English. These English lines are however rather awkward. He also calls Lu Bu by his Japanese name, Ryo Fu.

Sophie what are you doing?

I second this motion.
Anyone who says Sutte Hakkun is a bad addition to NSO do not deserve my respect.
In a less extreme example, here's Nene running a few laps before breaking out of the loop in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
Both Ys VIII and Ys IX are also famous for being prone to making party members run in circles. Sometimes they do get out of it without enemy interruptions or the player character moving, but usually they just keep doing this.
Ys IX can get rather chaotic when you stand on a short plank. Such terrain is very common in this game, making this happen quite often.
In Kirby Star Allies, computer-controlled friends wouldn't leave their targets even if there are more essential tasks to do.
NPC companions tend to get caught in loops and behave in weird ways. Here are a few I got. (Thread)

This one is from Shining Resonance Refrain. Party members usually don't have problem following the leader, but Agnum is caught in a perpetual running animation here in late game.
Guys, I just noticed that the Nintendo Switch lineage:
- Is the leader of the bunch
- We know it well
- It's finally back to kick some tail
- It's bigger
- Faster
- And stronger, too

Nintendo Switch's true identity is… Donkey Kong!
Its new feature is that it's the only system that will play the new Mario Kart (until other Switch 2 variants come out).

It's another 10 weeks before we get more information. Oh well.
So while looking for Kirby music on YouTube, I came across Evelyn Lark (@thenobledemon.bsky.social), who has done a LOT of game remixes that capture the feel of the originals very well. These remixes are not overinterpreted, as game music remixes tend to be.

Not directly related, but here are some 3DS screenshots of me completely obliterating Rin from 7 years ago.
