yeah I think "what if the voices are bad" is one of the stronger arguments against VA, though it can be countered with "they should let you switch to one of the good dubs in the options menu", but this is pokemon idk if they've added an options menu yet anyway

but on my secret third phantom hand I don’t play this shit anyway so I don’t actually care. I just get irritated when people act like a game not having voice acting is somehow disrespectful to the player or something

pokemon fans should chill, but also the pokemon company sucks. esh

on one hand I don’t think games need voice acting. what’s wrong with just reading stuff? there are lots of benefits of no va

on the other hand, they’re just trying to save money, which is lame when they can afford to localize pokemon into every spoken language and still make stupid amounts of money
