It's one of those things that slightly gets under my skin as someone who wants people to write more varied characters and pro/antagonists with more issues and perspectives. Like yes it's frustrating but that's good that's you being forced ro contend with Simon's issue: He can't do abstract logic.

Seeing people starting to talk about Soma again and it inevitably brings up how "dumb" Simon but remember: Simon literally has brain damage. It's explained immediately. You're playing a character with massive head trauma and severe brain bleeding issues. He literally is cognitively impared.
