So, I *am* a tech person and SF is bad news. The underlying code is a mess and terrible to build your own stuff on top of (likely by design, so you have to pay their people to do it).

On the plus side, maybe ICE will have the same experience you did and it will sabotage the whole fascism?

It’s midnight, which means Trump’s government just ran out of money.

Our entire government is shut down because Republicans in power refuse to lower health care costs.
Same to theaters that are using AI to create posters!

This isn’t politics. It’s not left or right. It’s not conservative or liberal. Cutting funding to treat children with brain cancer is hate and greed.
I can't get over how beautiful this play is and how fun this cast is.

Come to the forest! Opening Sept 19!
We're only a few days into rehearsals for THE WANTING FOREST, but we can already tell that this is a special one.

We started the week with movement, exploring how our bodies could tell stories together. We ended with reading the full text and singing through it.

There’s renewable energy ads and there’s mother**cking wind farm ads. This, blissfully, is the latter.

Leavitt pivots from claiming that Trump doesn't support elected officials "ripping off their constituents" by profiting from their public service to fielding a question about Trump's plan to host the G20 at Trump Doral
Not wrong. My teens' Doctor recommended that I get them the HPV vaccine ASAP (even though my younger one is just barely into the 5-ish year window for it) bc she's concerned it might not be available in another year. So weird to have a political conversation in the pediatrician's office.

"In my mind, this is no longer a conversation about anything else. Children are starving and being murdered in Gaza by the Israeli military while they seek to feed themselves. It feels impossible to talk about anything else in this conflict when that degree of sociopathic violence is occurring."
I Think It's Bad to Shoot at Starving Kids
Perhaps controversially.

NYT: Israeli military officials have admitted they never found evidence that Hamas systematically stole U.N. aid—despite using that claim to starve Gaza.

Why do searche engines offer AI as the firste resulte ynstead of just a site wyth the informacioun? It ys lyke lookinge for a photographe and ynstead beinge tolde "Oh no, we have a cartoon hermit crabbe who kan drawe the photo for you but will sometymes make mistakes."
Wtf is wrong with people? I'm sorry you are getting this kind of abuse and that it's probably only going to get worse. I felt like #45 gave me a PhD in racist dog whistles and #47 is post-doc on phrases I thought died with my grandparents' generation.

Protecting his stock portfolio while ripping away health care from 17 million Americans.

This is Washington at its worst.

We need to ban Congressional stock trading.

Mike Johnson just said if you are for reducing the deficit, this bill is for you.

The bill adds 3-4 trillion dollars to the deficit.

They just lie.

If a red hat wasn’t enough to help you identify gullible, bigoted, fascist morons, not to worry — they’ll now be wearing this cartoonishly garish shirt! 🤣
So stoked to find @levostregc.bsky.social here in Blue sky. I still repeat their pun about the bones of Richard III being found in a car park (it must have beene a compact spotte, as the two-doors were alwayes puttinge themselves over home"). (Just told this in rehearsal for r3 actually)

They would only be acting this way if they didn't believe that elections were ever going to have consequences again, right?
