Was able to 3-1 a weekly for an ultima to give rona relic one last (small) hurrah before rotation, after missing two city of brasses in the finals this weekend (against a PT and a worlds competitor, thanks Seattle). List is somewhat scuffed but still v fun to play :)

‪I guess 306.5b is the better point of comparison for 714.3a — 306.5b gives PWs an intrinsic ability of "this permanent enters with N counters", while 714.3a just says sagas enter with counters‬

The last point may not be true depending on how they implement the change. e.g. if they change 714.3a and 714.3b to grant intrinsic abilities to the card, then Saga would enter with no counters under moon (and saga creatures under dress down).

Besides no longer dying:
- Saga keeps ch1 and ch2 ability thru moon
- (Alpine) moon vs Saga is timestamps (moon wins unless it's flashed)
- Saga after moon will enter with a counter (afaict—see 714.3a vs 310.4b). After moon leaves saga gets construct ability on 2nd counter but still no T: C ability

gone are the days of blood mooning away an urzas saga

i think this change is *almost* really good

it certainly is more intuitive to do away with the 0 chapter ability thing, but imo sagas are still one of the clunkiest cards ...🧵
