Ange is a top bloke & I wanted him to succeed because of that + the dream of what Ange ball is. I also really hope he succeeds elsewhere if he does move on.
But I also think we’re flogging a dead horse now. The project is well set with the right appointment + a few additions.

Biggest concern for #thfc at the moment is how easy it is to get through this midfield. And that’s been done by far less dynamic teams than Villa.

Given we’ve won at Anfield once in a billion years, their incredible side & form + our list of absentees, this was an uphill task...and then some.
But that feels like such a limp way to go out - & such a shame in what could’ve been an even final. Two more cups to play for… #thfc
