I'd say of the No More Heroes games, my favorite is the first. It has a good balance of being funny, weird and fucked up. With fights and twists that can stick with you.

The No More Heroes games are definitely worth playing if you think it'll be your cup of tea. I do hope for a 4th game. The idea of fighting assassins in the future, maybe even across time, to ultimately kill Henry would be awesome.

No More Heroes 3, like 2, also does some things better and some things lesser. The combat has been expanded the open world being back is nice.
But the levels before boss fight being gone as well as there being only 1 beam katana hurts.

No More Heroes III is going well so far!
Had to look up how to beat the 3rd phase of Gold Joe's fight....not because I couldn't but because the slots went in my favor by giving Triple 7s and I skipped it.
I got caught off guard by the 3rd phase twice, restarted with 1.5x attack and destroyed him.

No More Heroes III is going well so far!

It got better after the 3rd game. The 2 after that don't drag on as long. The last base game was long but that's the finale, so going on for a bit is expected.
I still wish Travis and Badman talked to each other but there's good writing bits in the visual novel bits.

And I beat No More Heroes 2.
In some aspects it's better than the first and in other aspects it's behind. But still a good game and I definitely recommend it if you enjoyed the first game. The PC version as it is now is stable enough to fight through the crashes.

Playing No More Heroes 2 on PC. Had a couple crashes and sound issues but I'm getting through.
So far, I made it past Matt Helms. No deaths except the one I did on purpose in a vain attempt to fix said sound issues.
