The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Dropkick Murphys just had an epic moment at their show:

They made a friendly wager with a fan in a MAGA shirt—“Let’s see where it’s made.”

Then they checked his MAGA shirt tag…

Made in Nicaragua.

They swapped it with a Made in America Dropkick Murphys tee.

Legendary.

New: China might just let TikTok U.S. die rather than approve a sale. They have no interest in giving Trump a win unless he delivers a “grand deal” in exchange. Would embarrass the "Save TikTok" president and delight Chinese citizens, who see this as a David vs. Goliath tale wapo.st/3CH2Sy9
Trump wants a TikTok deal. China may pull the plug.
TikTok’s Chinese owner is slow-rolling negotiations for a sale, as the Trump administration seeks to broker a deal.

Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.

Foreign policy by tweet, and because of two men's egos.
An underrated aspect of the whole Colombia trade-war affair is that we're now doing foreign policy by tweet. Heads of State are making serious decisions about their economies via shitposting at each other.

We didn't even have any official WH communications—they just copied Trump's post.
