Back in 2019, Ngozi Ukazu's "Check, Please!" was the first hockey m/m romance series I read. Jack, Bitty, and the rest of the crew are perfectly chaotic.

I personally don't see a ton of evidence of this in the original Kirby comics. He states in Forever People #5 that he has depression, however.
