Nothing is more #disappointing than finding an #orange that looks fine on the inside, and you peel it to find it’s dried up on the inside. Almost like the people that say we are “fine” don’t see our invisible #disabilities.
When you share content from other pages, always share directly, don’t steal images.
My work was shared without permission and my watermark removed. Taking content without credit misrepresents creators, erases our voices, and sends the message that it’s okay to steal work.
A reminder that there were two great #socialmedia platforms to replace #Twitter that were not controlled by a #Trump bootlicker: #Mastodon and #Bluesky, yet people decided to support another #Meta platform despite being tired of #Zuck.
So I’m a bit curious. Has anyone in the #neurodivergent #self-advocacy community entered a relationship with another #self-advocate? Just wanted to know how common it is.

Still focusing on my retrophiliac business but also starting to focus on my re-sale clothing & accessory biz because it seems to be where I am finding more success these days.
#HealthCanada has sent out an e-Notice saying that #Acetaminophen, sold under the brand #Tylenol, does not cause autism.
#Tylenol just put this message on their website following yesterday’s announcement by #RFK spreading misinformation on #autism.
Wow, so the option to turn off #political posts in my suggested feed on #Facebook is not working. Still getting #far-right #grifter garbage in my feed from pages like #Crowder. Just give me an option to disable suggested posts completely already, for fuck sakes #Meta.
Nothing like being up at 2:30 a.m. due to feeling #lonely and #unwanted.
An excellent video from one of my favourite #autistic #advocates.
Clips from a day in my life as an autistic person in Vancouver! Sharing little moments, routines, and what everyday life may look like for me.

You know what’s disgusting? When a #Facebook group that is way newer than mine gets 7x the amount of members, and it’s all just #AI-generated #puzzlepiece #slop rather than actual #neurodivergent #advocacy.

Autism advocacy and activism must make space for mental health. Silencing someone who is responding in panic or in other extreme ways happens far too often, and I am calling it out because it has to stop.

I’m autistic and experienced autonomic nervous system overload during a job trial. Traditional work can be overwhelming.

My wholesale on Faire has plummeted almost 50%, and that makes it harder for me to survive and keep expanding the work I do. I design disability advocacy, neurodiversity, and queer pride enamel pins, stickers, lanyards, and accessories—tools that help people with self-advocacy and visibility.

It is September and Disability Employment Month celebrates disabled workers, but self-employed disabled individuals are often overlooked. They face limited funding, little recognition and few tailored supports. Programs exist, but one-on-one guidance, microgrants and practical mentorship are needed.
I wouldn’t say a smoking restaurant is a positive. That’s one thing that should have stayed in the past.

Connecting with others can feel overwhelming as an autistic person. Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, miscommunication, and negativity bias can make neutral reactions feel like disapproval.
I’m definitely feeling like this over the past few days.

#Dating #apps are good for nothing other than #profiting off human #connection, something that was once #free.
