I think I just finished what may be the best book I’ve ever read. I read it for school because I had to (it is a selection in this year’s #BattleOfTheBooks ) but I ended up loving it more than I can say, so much so, that I’m writing a post about it . #TheBoysInTheBoat @danieljamesbrown.bsky.social

Institute of Library and Museum Services cuts: most of the libraries in AK (small, rural, volunteer-run) receive IMLS grants which look small until you consider the percentage of total funding they represent. These cuts will shutter libraries here.
