kind of depends on what you're after! if you want the artists you listen to make more from your streams, tidal and qobuz are your best options right now, but their selection isn't as expansive as spotify

apple music would probably be the best middle ground. youtube music pays less than spotify

my understanding of apple music is that they pay artists an average of a cent per stream while spotify's average pay is half a cent.

so like, it's better than spotify (also has better sound quality) but doesn't pay as much as tidal (about a cent and a half) or qobuz (closer to 2 cents)
