wanting to take phone calls and they really wanted to push things towards texting. I thought, "what is this, this feels cheapened, this feels dismissive." And that behavior grew and grew. Now its hard to get people to respond to text. Too much investment of effort, i guess, i really don't know.

i wanted an identity, as an artist, a painter, a photographer, a musician, whatever would stick. I did many things at the same time not really thinking about focusing on just being good at one thing. I also worked countless dead end jobs because i thought that eventually things would just fall into
