It’s difficult to make Christmas feel magical when you can barely cover the essentials.

Right now, there are 6 million children living in cold homes. Their parents are trying desperately to make ends meet and pay for essentials like food, heating and electricity.

RTS meters may not operate correctly when the Radio Teleswitch Service is switched off. If you think you may have one, please contact your energy supplier as soon as possible. While speaking to them, find out if you’re eligible for additional support by joining the Priority Services Register.

Last week, our Oldham Energy Action team launched the Winter Warm Home Visit initiative with Action Together as part of the Community Health Champions network. We trained frontline workers to identify and provide support to their patients.
