Getting a new meter also means that you can get a smart meter and could see if your supplier offers accessible in-home displays, which can be extremely useful for those with sight, dexterity or memory loss problems.

If you have poor sight, dexterity and/or memory loss, an accessible in-home display with your smart meter may be available to give you better oversight of your energy usage.
