Full games for Nash and Heatley in Italy. Just over 20 minutes for Chidiac in a win against Juventus, and a cameo for Galabadaarachchi. Another full 90 for Rule in Brighton's narrow loss to Arsenal.
Close to 30 minutes for KCC which is an improvement. Thought she'd maybe get the start for that one.

It's almost like everything has happened 12 months too late heading into the Asian Cup. Naming a coach, Rule finally fit and playing, Galic at a team she's getting plenty of gametime and in form. Nash has been consistent the whole time and now it's about going up another level. Exciting stuff!

Another one unlucky not to be in this upcoming squad. One thing maybe not in her favour is only having 4 games left in Sweden before the offseason. If she's not in the November/December squad then it'll be pretty difficult.

I think post Asian Cup will be the time to bring back Galic, Nash and Rule into the Matildas to see how they can fit in.

They'll probably both be coming into the Asian Cup without much club game time since the NWSL will be near the end of the offseason going into it. Same with Whyman in Sweden. 😅
Lincoln could be right back in the mix with a good ALW season.

One thing I'll say is that she is getting better at claiming the ball in the air from set pieces instead of always punching it. (Always a bugbear of mine)
Trying to pay attention since I think it's likely she'll be number 1 with Micah not playing games and Whyman not being capped.
