Interesting seeing the same reaction to a slower episode of Critical Role 4 and Welcome to Derry being, in some places, 'this episode could have been an email' because massive events didn't happen and people had feelings.

And no, it couldn't have been, because this stuff is the point.

Today is the National Cyber Security Centre conference, #NSCSconf25 A huge change from last year where so many things were plans or unknowns, now there are so many more concrete things happening as NIS2 is actually imminent.

Over £2500 raised at the #Dragonmeet Charity Auction after a great con. Another very worthwhile trip gaming and meeting friends, new and old!

The #Dragonmeet Charity Auction is taking place in the Lounge (between the RPG rooms and the Seminar rooms on the upper floor) from 1900ish. Lots of amazing stuff for great charities!

London, so much weird bad, but it is filled with so much good too, and sits on the rubber sheet like the mass-iest ball bearing. Here we are again. 2nd most time-spent-in city. Family & friends make every moment worthwhile. #Dragonmeet

Not doing Black Friday because I'm against the creeping Americanisation of Irish life and can't afford to as a small artist, but WILL be doing Vengeful Hag Friday where for every piece of art you purchase from www.ciaraioch.com/artprints I will fervently wish bad cess to your enemies

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

#Dragonmeet is tomorrow (Saturday 29th) in London's Excel and I'm going to be there! Hopefully I'll see lots of lovely people around the con and at the charity auction on Saturday evening!

This is bullshit. Names are inherently divisive and that any TD thinks now is a good time to get into the news with this is indicative of their lack of awareness.

I took, hopefully, my last Luas replacement bus today. I sat on the top deck at the front, ofc, because why wouldn't you? Looking forward to the full return of the Red Line service tomorrow!

I quite literally will never understand this take. I know that we always need *some* rental property available but the vast majority of people in Ireland want to own and we can't because of *drumroll please* landlords buying multiple properties to rent. Them leaving the market is what we want.

Yup, this prompted a big "Fuck you, Rassie" moment for me.
How to lose friends and alienate people😂😂

13-24 in the end, with a record matching number of cards for Ireland. I have never seen a match like it, and while they won, RSA have to look at that and wonder why they couldn't score an awful lot more. #IREvRSA
November 22, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Like, what the absolute fuck #IREvRSA. Yes, Ireland's discipline hasn't been great, but that number of cards is ridiculous. Are they feeling bad for the reds against RSA earlier in the campaign? The fact it's 7-19 is a miracle.

I have finished @julietemckenna.bsky.social's "The Green Man's Holiday" and I am now reassessing any leisure time I spend with her! :) Excellent addition to the series and it was interesting to have a book that focuses so much on Dan & Fin. Absolutely recommended!

Yesterday evening marked the launch of @rflong.bsky.social's "The Lore of Silver" hosted by the @gutterbookshop.bsky.social)! Ruth was interviewed by @sarahreesbrennan.bsky.social about how the series came into being and intrigued us all. There are bodies, you should buy this book!

At the recent #HEAnet2025 conference Dr Hazel Murray from MTU gave an excellent talk on Quantum Cryptography and I highly recommend taking a look if have 30m. She's an amazing communicator and she gave me clarity on some really complex concepts. www.conference.heanet.ie/quantum-comp...

All the talk will be of Parrott (and completely understandably so!), but on my poorly informed viewing it really was a great couple of team performances. Kelleher obviously deserves huge plaudits. Such a turn around. #HUNvIRE #COYBIG

Absolute scenes in Budapest! Pulling a play-off place out of the jaws of disaster. Parrott for, well, not President, but something like. :) #HUNvIRE

If you'd told 90's me that we'd put over 40 points on Australia and still be a little "hmm, more improvement needed" I would have laughed in your face. I mean, it's true, but still... #IREvAUS

It's ok for Ireland to have two good out-halves. (No try, but gorgeous kick!) #IREvAUS
