I work with a lot of unincorporated areas and have personally seen the gulf between perception and reality. I'm lucky that at least in my county there are some ties between the county and the communities - but Lord knows they could be better.

I love my job. Today I got to work with conservation engineers to come up with a project that will have emergency management impacts. I was the *dumbest person* in the room and it was amazing. Emergency management is the best and cross-sectoral collaboration makes the days even better. Let's go!

I need census.gov data and I can't get my county's profile to pull up. Does anybody have a way to pull up the number of language speakers in a county that's reported on a census without using a government site? my state and county don't capture the data 😭.
