Helping my son with his Roblox account and it will always amaze me that such as popular game has such an astronomically Mickey Mouse user experience.

Trails of Cold Steel 2 has been giving me the Final Fantasy 6 vibes a fair amount, and this boss fight— where you go full ensemble, main character nowhere to be seen— is more of that, in a very good way.
FF6 was my favorite SNES game, so it could be my own bias, but there’s a lot in common there 💝

The stagger in newer Trails games is based on what type of weapon you’re using and how susceptible a given enemy is to it.
If you land enough stagger shots you can build up to all-out attacks 🎉

This game has a large cast, but Fie will always be in my party. She’s super fast, evades everything, and gives you a lot of flexibility 🎉🎉🎉
