Just finished the Battlefield 6 campaign — the beans on toast of gaming. Simple, predictable, but somehow still hits the spot when you’re not in the mood to cook up anything complicated.

Call me stubborn, but I’ll die on this hill: the Stadia controller was elite. Google may have fumbled the service, but the controller deserved better.

Avalanche Studios is closing its Liverpool office and cutting staff in Malmö & Stockholm. Tough news, but if anyone knows how to rise from chaos, it’s the devs who perfected it. Here’s hoping they land on their feet and keep making worlds worth blowing up.

Oh cool, Nuketown is back for the 700th time. Groundbreaking stuff. At this point just rename the franchise “Call of Nuketown” and be done with it. Same map, same formula, same déjà vu.

Black Ops 7 just feels like a reskin of a reskin. Watched 20 mins, already feel like I’ve played it for a year. At this point, I don’t care if it’s terrible—just try something different. Or drop the yearly releases and go live service. Same treadmill, fewer receipts.

Been playing GRID lately and it nails it 👌
You actually have to think about your race, the difficulty’s just right, and it doesn’t feel like you’re up against The Stig (shout out Top Gear).

Wanna hear my take on The Rogue Prince of Persia? Of course you do. It’s like Hades and Dead Cells had a Persian baby — smooth movement, killer vibe. Just needs more content drops to really bulk it up.
