I am a cardiac electrophysiologist. Teaching difficult topics in a simple way is my passion. I am still grieving over Elon's destruction of the formerly robust EP / Cardiology educational community on Twitter. It took years to build and weeks to destroy.

But we will be a Phoenix.

Patients may ask about different types of ablation technology for their a.fib. Send them this link for a simple explanation, which still leaves their doc in charge of that decision 👍

An excellent video!
So here's a crazy idea. After the initial diagnosis (e.g., immediately following that first trip to the ED or PCP), the "you've got new test results" MyChart email includes a link to the video. The subsequent follow-up precheck-in emails then contain a "viewed it" check box.

For EP providers: if you watch the video, think about how different a new patient visit might be if the AFib patient had watched this first? 🤔

You should try being in medicine. Reimbursement steadily declines, costs continually rise. No wonder so many hospitals go bust. And the government throwing millions off their coverage will supercharge this fiasco.
Commentary: Farming is harder than it has been in decades. Since 2022, corn and soybean prices have dropped by as much as 30%, while input costs have only gone up.
Rob Elliott: As the government reopens, Illinois farmers are still left waiting
Now that the government has reopened, Congress must act to protect the science-based tools that farmers depend on.
