Learning to draw; I'm thinking in terms of a future painting, but the scales will be very different! #SundaySketch #Art
I am so sorry that happened to you!
I've not been anywhere to see wildflowers this week, but I did see these. Common milkthistle and field thistle. #WIldflowerHour

All out against transphobia! On Saturday, November 1, TERFS intend to march in London, demanding trans exclusionary, discriminatory legislation, and threatening trans people on our streets.

We cannot let this happen unchallenged.

We need as many people possible out again on 1st November!
Do tell us more - which works?? Please??
Oh gosh!! Be kind to yourself 🫂
A chicory endive (apparently!) and a red clover from a walk this week #wildflowerHour

#Tyrannosaurus rex was named 120 years ago today (Oct 4, 1905). If you want to know all there is to know about the world's most iconic #dinosaur, the word is that my book "King Tyrant", published a few months back, is a good start. #fossils #paleontology #paleoart press.princeton.edu/books/hardco...
Today of all days, it is an unspeakable horror.
From what I've read about Datura, the trip to France was a lot better that the trip Datura would have given you!
Are you safe? Is there someone with you??
As I was taking this pic, an elderly (i.e. even older then me) gentlemen came up, looked at it and said that he's wanted to see one of these all his life!!

The landowners have been made aware, btw
One I really didn't expect to see in the wild in the UK! On a little bit of unloved/waste land, this is Datura stramonium, aka Angel's Trumpet, Thornapple or Jimsonweed; it's quite the hallucinogen. Growing wild behind it were thistles and a tomato plant(!)

Wow- what a beautiful work of art!!! 😍
The open studio exhibition went really well SO I’m glad to announce that I’m going to do another one at the beginning of December and there will be mince pies for those who visit
