Added a little touch of 24k gold leaf to the portrait as she is quite the little princess

Very proud of this portrait of my brother’s family dog, and it was such fun to paint

I’ve been experimenting with eco-printing again. It’s been too long! I love the natural and unpredictable results

I’ve been practising drawing figures. So I took the opportunity to make a character to fit a monthly art prompt of “Earth, Fire, and Water.”

I love the way a pallet knife can be used to marble colours. Inspired by a cave I visited in France years ago, the sight of such a vibrant green forest as you emerged really stuck with me. Amazingly I managed to track down a photo I took to use as a reference

Sending off my submissions to the Incognito Art Show today! So excited to be involved this year! I’ll share details once the sale is over later in the year.

Oh my gosh I didn’t notice that! Thank you for bringing it to my attention! I’ll remove it until after they reveal the artists. It makes sense though, I just didn’t think about it since I don’t have any followers 😅
I want to fill the wall in my craft room with decorated embroidery hoops that I’ve been picking up secondhand from op shops. One down, many to go!
My art studio is finally complete! It’s been a huge labour of love, but I am beyond excited to finally be able to unpack my craft supplies and get creating again
